The CM56 has a large display combining a clear 3¾ digit readout with a responsive 34 segment bar graph which indicates fluctuating readings. For general purpose measurements it has autoranging AC and DC voltage and measures resistance to 30MΩ with a beeper on the low resistance continuity range. It also measures frequency with 0.1 Hz resolution allowing accurate determination of mains or generator frequencies. Hold and AC peak functions assist in taking readings in awkward places.
